New feature idea with all players fighting a villain

What do you think of this?

New feature for Open Space where every day at a random time, notications sent to user: do you want to battle a villain in 1 hour and then with 2 minutes to go.

all users are shown on screen. they can shoot at the villain and move their ship. villain shoots back. may destroy your ship. u take an escape pod to nearest planet, choose new ship.

villain  health depends on users combined health. it should get harder if it is defeated or easier if last time not defeated.

villain drops some important rare item when destroyed

What minerals could be mined in an asteroid belt?

I suggest adding a feature to Open Space where you can travel to an asteroid belt and click on flying asteroids to mine minerals from them. OpenAI came up with so many minerals that could be mined! It’s so cool. I want to build an auction house where you can buy and sell all the different minerals. There’s an auction house on GreenRobot’s Pirate Web Game (https://piratewarsonline.com) and people like to use it.

Common Minerals and Metals
Iron (Fe): One of the most abundant metals found in asteroids, especially in M-type (metallic) asteroids.
Nickel (Ni): Often found alongside iron in metallic asteroids.
Cobalt (Co): Another metal found in metallic asteroids, useful for various industrial applications.

Precious Metals
Gold (Au): Rare but highly valuable, used in electronics and as a monetary standard.
Platinum (Pt): Valuable for its use in catalytic converters, electronics, and jewelry.
Palladium (Pd): Used in electronics, dentistry, and as a catalyst in various chemical reactions.

Other Valuable Elements
Iridium (Ir): Extremely rare on Earth but more common in asteroids, used in electronics and scientific equipment.
Ruthenium (Ru): Used in electronics and as a catalyst in various chemical reactions.
Rhodium (Rh): Highly reflective and corrosion-resistant, used in jewelry and for industrial purposes.

Rare Earth Elements
Neodymium (Nd): Essential for strong permanent magnets used in various high-tech applications.
Samarium (Sm): Used in strong magnets and as a catalyst.
Lanthanum (La): Used in camera lenses and as a catalyst in various chemical reactions.

Industrial Minerals
Silicon (Si): Found in rocky asteroids, used in electronics and solar panels.
Aluminum (Al): Lightweight and abundant in certain types of asteroids, useful for construction and manufacturing.
Magnesium (Mg): Lightweight and strong, used in construction and manufacturing.
Water and Volatiles
Water (H2O): Can be found in ice form in some asteroids, essential for life support and fuel production (via electrolysis to produce hydrogen and oxygen).
Ammonia (NH3): Useful for agricultural purposes and as a potential fuel source.
Methane (CH4): Can be used as a fuel source.

Fictional or Game-Specific Minerals
Unobtainium: A highly valuable and rare mineral that can be used as a key resource in your game’s advanced technologies or unique game mechanics.
Energon Crystals: These crystals could be a powerful energy source in your game, driving advanced machinery or space travel.
Stellarium: A rare mineral that could be used to create powerful weapons or armor.

Incorporating Minerals into Your Game
Mining Missions: Players can undertake missions to mine specific minerals, which can be used to upgrade their spacecraft, build new structures, or trade for other resources.

Economy System: Introduce a trading system where players can buy and sell minerals, with prices fluctuating based on supply and demand.

Crafting System: Allow players to use mined minerals to craft advanced items, weapons, and equipment.
Story Integration: Integrate some of these minerals into your game’s storyline, making them essential for certain quests or objectives.

By including a variety of minerals, you can add depth and complexity to the mining aspect of your game, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
